Maltese Australian author Godfrey Bonavia has released Paraphernalia Volume 2, his second collection of short stories following the success of his Amazon bestselling debut, Paraphernalia. Maltese Australian Author Godfrey Bonavia Releases Second Short Story Collection, Paraphernalia Volume 2
PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA, September 28, 2026 — Author Godfrey Bonavia has announced the release of Paraphernalia Volume 2, the follow up to his debut short story collection, Paraphernalia, which reached number one bestseller status on Amazon in three categories: Humor Literary Criticism, Short Stories Literary Criticism, and Native American Literary Criticism.
Bonavia, who was born in Malta and has lived in Perth, Australia since 1985, has been writing short stories since 1964. His work has previously appeared in newspapers and newsletters throughout Malta and Australia, including regular contributions to the Maltese Association’s monthly magazine.
Paraphernalia Volume 2 brings readers seven new stories: “Golden Tragedy,” “The Craftsman,” “Barracuda,” “The Battle of Malta,” “El Matador,” “The Darkest Tunnel,” and “The Island Girl.” The collection continues the approach that defined Bonavia’s first volume: accessible, character driven fiction written for readers who want a complete story in a short amount of time, whether on a commute, a lunch break, or a quiet evening at home.
